Usefull Things

Finding information about the mines that worked in Cornwall and the UK can be a very exhaustive procedure with lots of dead ends, missing information and unfortunately a lot of secrecy due to reasons nobody can ever seem to explain. To help mine explorers and cavers both new and experienced with finding information, locating sites and generally trying to answer questions on the history of mining in Cornwall and other places the files and recommendations below may be of some use:

Included where possible are links to either purchase or download

If people can suggest any books or have any maps that they wish to share with fellow mine explorers please get in touch.
We are in no way affiliated to http://www.moorebooks.co.uk but as a site dedicated to mining and caving books it made more sense (no pun intended) to recommend them than just linking to a search engine

Thanks to Corin for the Wales reccomendations
